1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding TeemoBot to your Discord server or accessing its web dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, as well as the Riot Games Terms of Service and Riot's Legal Jibber Jabber policy.

2. Description of Service

TeemoBot is a third-party tool designed to enhance the League of Legends player experience by providing:

  • Real-time tracking of Ranked game starts and completions (Solo/Duo and Flex).
  • Daily summary reports tracking League Point (LP) gains and losses.
  • In-depth player profile lookups via Discord commands.

3. Relationship with Riot Games

TeemoBot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Riot Games in any way. All game-related data is fetched via the Riot Games API, and all game assets (such as champion icons) are provided via the DataDragon service in accordance with Riot's third-party policies.

4. Acceptable Use and Community Respect

In compliance with Riot Games' community policies, users agree to the following:

  • No Player Shaming: TeemoBot’s reports are intended for personal improvement and friendly tracking. Using the bot to harass, shame, or create negative preconceptions of a player based on their performance is strictly prohibited.
  • No Monetization: TeemoBot is a free service. Users may not charge others for access to the bot’s features or data.
  • Game Integrity: This bot is a statistical tool and does not provide any unfair advantage or compromise the integrity of League of Legends gameplay.

5. Data Collection and Privacy

To provide its services, TeemoBot collects and stores the following information in its database:

  • Game Identity: Riot PUUID, Game Name, Tag Line, and Region.
  • Ranking Statistics: Tier, Rank, and LP for Solo/Duo and Flex queues.
  • Discord Metadata: Guild IDs and Channel IDs where the bot is configured.
  • Dashboard Access: When logging in via Discord OAuth2, the bot accesses your User ID and the list of servers where you have administrative permissions to enable bot management.

This data is used solely for tracking statistics and providing the requested bot functionality. It is never sold or shared with third parties.

6. Responsibility for Self-Hosting

If you choose to self-host an instance of TeemoBot (via source code or Docker):

  • You are solely responsible for securing your Riot API Key and Discord Bot Token.
  • You must use your own API keys and ensure your project adheres to Riot's Developer policies.
  • Never publish your .env file or credentials publicly.

7. Limitation of Liability

TeemoBot is provided "as is" without any warranties. Service accuracy depends on the availability of the Riot Games and Discord APIs. The developer is not responsible for any data loss, API rate-limiting issues, or service interruptions.

8. Modifications and Termination

The developer reserves the right to modify or terminate the service at any time to maintain compliance with Riot Games' evolving policies or for technical maintenance.
